The swift progression of Information and Communication Technology has brought a radical change in information and knowledge scenario giving rise to a number of options to the user communities to retrieve pertinent information both in the form of hard and soft documents at their ease. To this effect, the central library has adopted a sound and user-responsive collection building policy. It has been constantly acquiring, organizing and processing conventional as well as electronic learning resources for its user community.
Books
The library has successfully built up a comprehensive collection of over 14000+ books (Azara Campus) and 5000+ (Tapesia Camus) covering different branches of knowledge. Besides, there are also more than 1330 + Reference books (Azara Campus) and 500 + Reference books (Tapesia Campus) available in varied subjects.
Journals & Electronic Resources
The library subscribes to 65 print journals (both Indian and Foreign) specific to the academic and research needs of the academic community of the university. There are more than 6000+ electronic journals and 4+ million e-theses & dissertations available in full text through the online databases subscribed by the library.
CD-ROMs
The library has 800+ CDs/DVDs on statistical data, encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.
Magazines & News Papers
The library subscribes to 23+ magazines and 5 newspapers with multiple copies to cater to the needs of the students and academic community.
Other Resources: The library also holds a collection of Ph. D. Thesis, Project reports, case studies, working papers, annual reports etc. in all subject areas being taught at the University.
